Need new toys for the kids?

You can even borrow toys from the library!

  • Surprise your kids by loaning a range of different and fun toys.
  • Once you’ve become a member, simply head to the Newcastle Toy Library on Saturday mornings to borrow some new toys to keep them entertained.

Can’t get to the library? No worries, it can come to you – online!

Or there’s home delivery!

  • Newcastle Region Libraries run a home library service for those who can’t get to the library due to age, illness or impairment, or carer responsibilities.
  • Contact Outreach Services for further details and to see if you’re eligible.

Not a library member?

  • Head into your local branch today to sign up.
  • You just need to bring along two forms of ID – one that shows your address, such as your driver’s licence or a utility bill, then the second one can be a Medicare, pension or health card.
  • For temporary membership and eLibrary access, you can also join online.
